MFSC 5300 Class 4-6-2

The MFSC recieved from the NYCLW a class of Heavy 4-6-2 in 1902. A Prototype was constructed, with a pre-class number, 5299, for class testing. The class ran from numbers 5300-5330, Ranging of 30 engines.

They came in 3 color schemes, 5299 and 5310-5320 were painted in the "Alton" scheme, 5300 to 5309 were in Milwaukee Road schemes (5300 was given the "Chippewa" train name when the train was acquired bt the railway after it's termination of services), and the remaining in normal October Yellow and Black.

5300, 5299, and 5325 were given names that replicate their respective trains.
