MFSC P40DC Locomotive

Built legally on the GE P40DC Genesis locomotives, 50 unit varites were built by NYCLW for the MFSC between 1992 and 1994. These engines were ordered to desist Enviormentalists from slandering the company (Though there wasn't anything TO slander because a number of RRs, new and old, still operate steam under goverment requirements). Unit numbers ran from 9450 to 9499 coming into two schemes.

Because the power output from the engines were around the 4000HP mark, it was likely they would replace M4s on main passenger services like the Red Dragon, Overland and the Friscan, but were assigned to mediale commuter services with the 4-4-2 and other types.
