Description

Following on the Island Class of battleships, the Metropolitan Class, named after major Oceanic cities, were larger and more powerful developements created in 1938. Built with 9x16 inch guns, 16x5 inch dual gun turrets, It was one of a few classes of Oceanic naval battleship might that they could exert unto any region of the world neccesary.

Initially the three warships were stationed in the Ocean of the Orient, due to testing and trials being done in Metropolitan Oceanic, before deployment eastward to the Old Sea. They took part in the opening salvos of World War III, working to defend transports that ferried troops and equipment south from Del Richian convoy raiders before engaging in the big ship-to-ship actions. Two of their number were lost in the war, one early on in the Battle of Vitorialand, and the other in an air attack on a port in Lauritania.

Based off of US South Dakota class or US North Carolina class? Camouflage is based off of German Atlantic camouflages, I assume of course, But the camo reminds so much of Bismarck and Tirpitz, or Graf Spee.
